Hey, remember that iconic scene from ‘Jerry Maguire’? You know, the one where Tom Cruise’s character talks to Cuba Gooding Jr.’s athlete character? He’s basically expressing his willingness to support and assist, but he also needs Cuba’s character to be part of that journey to help each other out.

I often find myself reflecting on that line. Right now, as we embark on the initial stages of our business directory, our primary focus is on adding businesses to the directory before we can actively promote the site to Christian consumers. While this approach makes perfect logical sense—adding businesses before promoting to potential users—it also presents a challenge when discussing our directory with potential members.

They ask, “How many visitors does our Christian Business Directory currently receive?” It’s a fair question, but it’s somewhat premature. Our first and foremost priority is to populate the directory with Christian-owned businesses. Encouraging Christians to visit our directory with only a handful of businesses isn’t ideal.

We are committed to making the directory an affordable platform for Christian business owners to advertise. Currently, membership stands at just $19 per month, which amounts to mere pennies a day. Furthermore, we are offering various discounts to early members to reduce the cost even further.

This is more than just a business to us; it’s a mission. Our mission is to strengthen the Christian community by keeping financial resources within our faith family. By urging Christians to consider their fellow believers before making purchases, we aim to fortify the entire Christian community.

The monthly membership fee helps us promote and draw attention to this noble mission. While it’s true that this Christian Business Directory operates as a business, my wife and I have a deeper goal beyond just earning income. Our aim is to facilitate success for hundreds of other businesses through our platform. We’ve deliberately set the cost at a level where it’s not burdensome for any business owner.
